Artwork Guidelines
To avoid unnecessary charges and delays and to ensure you receive the highest quality customization, please review our artwork guidelines below.
If your artwork is not in a suitable format for customization, we can convert (redraw) your file for a fee of USD $40. You will be notified and asked for confirmation before this work begins.
PRINT
Vector AI files and EPS files
Vector Illustrator (AI) and EPS files are our preferred file types. Vectors are easily distinguishable from other formats—zooming into a vector will reveal no jagged edges or distortion, whereas zooming into a bitmap will make the image and edges appear blocky.
Please do not create a bitmap file and then save it as an AI or EPS file. Such files remain bitmaps and are unusable unless we redraw them for an additional fee.
PRINT
Pantone spot colours
All colors should be converted to Pantone spot colors. In Illustrator and other design software, individual colors can be selected and changed to their Pantone equivalents. Refer to your software’s documentation or search online for guidance. When we screen print, we print one color at a time, which is why color-separated files are necessary. This allows us to efficiently print each color layer.
PRINT
Adobe PDF files
PDFs must be created from vector files and retain their edit capabilities.
Do not create a bitmap file and then save it as a PDF. Such PDFs remain bitmaps, making them unusable and subject to a redraw fee.
EMBROIDERY
High resolution JPG, BMP, TIF, EPS, AI
All file types are accepted as long as they are high resolution. For first-time customers, there is a USD $30 fee for converting logos or graphics into an embroidery format (digitizing). This is a one-time fee, and your embroidered artwork will be stored for future orders. Embroidered text incurs a USD $5 setup fee.
Additional Notes
- File Quality:Ensure all submitted artwork is of high quality to prevent issues during the customization process.
- Color Accuracy:Using Pantone spot colors helps maintain color consistency across different printing methods.
- File Formats:Adhering to the preferred file formats (AI, EPS, PDF for print; high-resolution JPG, BMP, TIF, EPS, AI for embroidery) ensures a smooth and efficient customization process.
