Sustainable Synthetic Fabrics - Part 2

Sustainable Synthetic Fabrics - Part 2

The types of sustainable synthetic fabrics are as follows:

01 Econyl

Econyl is a recycled nylon fabric made from Marine plastics, discarded fishing nets and discarded fabrics.

While it feels exactly the same as nylon, this fabric is manufactured using a closed-loop system that doesn't use as much water.

02 Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester, also known as RPET, single-use plastic use is clearly wreaking havoc on our environment, and many brands have come up with ways to give landfill plastic bags, bottles and textiles a second life and save our mother Earth.

Recycled polyester is versatile and can take on many different senses and functions. Recycled polyester can be used to create light and stretchy sports, as well as thick and fluffy sustainable products. Sustainable fashion brands such as Patagonia,Prana and Reformation have been using it for years.
